Sponsoring students for Robotics Weeks at the Heureka Science Centre

Microsoft offered fifth graders from schools in Espoo, Kirkkonummi, and Vihti the opportunity to visit the Heureka Science Centre during two Robotics Weeks – September 16 – 27, 2024.

These sponsored science class activities enabled Heureka visits for children who might not otherwise have the opportunity. The classes received entrance tickets and round-trip bus transfers to Heureka. In total, more than 1,900 students and their teachers were able to visit the Robotics Weeks with Microsoft’s support.

During the Robotics Weeks, the classes familiarized themselves with robotics and programming by experimenting in various workshop programs. The visits inspired students to learn about scientific achievements and innovations that make our everyday lives easier. The visits also motivated students in their studies and provided ideas and direction for future work life.
