Microsoft invests in local programs that benefit people of all ages. In Singapore, our collaborations are organized by our focus areas of Building Digital Skills, Enabling Sustainability, and Empowering Communities. The following program list contains a sample of the investments Microsoft makes on an annual basis.

デジタル・スキルの構築

Microsoft believes everyone should have access to the skills, technology, and opportunity they need to succeed in a changing economy.   Generation: You Employed  transforms education to employment systems to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible.

• Generation Singapore: Technical Skilling Scholarships for Underrepresented Groups created a bursary fund that can support up to 40 women, mid-careerists, and other needful learner profiles to get into its tech programmes. Specific parameters of eligibility ensure the funds support beneficiaries who are most in need. The grant provides these individuals with the financial support so they can take the time to get reskilled and be better positioned to take advantage of job opportunities in the digital economy.  

  Institute of Technical Education  (ITE) was established as a post-secondary institution in 1992, under the Ministry of Education. ITE is a principal provider of career and technical education and a key developer of national skills certification and standards, skilling Singapore for the future economy. It offers three key programmes: Pre-Employment Training for youths after secondary education, Continuing Education and Training for adult learners, and Workplace Learning and Work-Study Programmes with employers.

• データセンターアカデミー・ラーニングラボoutfittingは、マイクロソフトのアジア初のデータセンター・アカデミーを開設することで、学位を取得していないシンガポール人が技術分野のトレーニングと仕事にアクセスできるよう支援する、シンガポールの技術教育機関（ITE）とのパートナーシップの一環です。マイクロソフトは、ITEカレッジ・イースト・キャンパスに、データセンター業界でのキャリアを目指す学生が働くことになる高セキュリティ環境を再現した学習ラボを建設するため、廃止・改修されたデータセンター機器を寄贈する。この助成金は、同校がラボを設置するのを支援するほか、シンガポールのデータセンターに採用された4人の実習生の学費を負担する。

  The Asia Foundation  is a nonprofit international development organization committed to improving lives and expanding opportunities across Asia and the Pacific. Informed by 70 years of experience and deep local knowledge, its work is focused on governance, climate action, gender equality, education and leadership, inclusive growth, and international cooperation.

• STEMConnectHerイニシアチブアジア財団によって開発されたSTEMConnectHerイニシアチブは、地域横断的なつながりと協力を可能にするために、国内のSTEMネットワーク、協会、教育機関、民間セクターを集めた地域ネットワークである。パートナーは共同で、STEM分野の若い女性が専門的に成長し、選択したSTEM分野で成功できるよう支援する。SCHプログラムには、魅力的なワークショップ、研修、参加者を支援する活動（スピーカー・シリーズ、地域横断メンタリング・プラットフォーム、専門能力開発リソースのキュレーション・ライブラリー、EvolveCareers就職準備アクセラレーター、職場体験など）があります。

持続可能性の実現

Climate change requires swift, collective action and technological innovation. We are committed to meeting our own goals while helping communities to do the same.   Garden City Fund  provides, through partnerships with organizations and individuals, a platform for the community to be involved in conservation, research, outreach, and education initiatives. By engaging the community, it hopes to cultivate a love for the environment and promote a sense of ownership in Singapore’s natural heritage.

• Plant-A-Treeプログラムは、2030年までに100万本以上の木を植えるというシンガポールの100万本植樹運動の一環で、組織や個人がこの責任を果たし、自然の中で都市の緑化に参加することができます。2022年以来、マイクロソフトは公的および私的（マイクロソフト従業員）な植樹イベントを後援し、資金と人力の支援を受けて合計800本以上の木を植えてきました。
• 植物園への寄付プログラムは、シンガポール初のユネスコ世界遺産であるシンガポール植物園の160年にわたる遺産と貴重な活動を支援しています。マイクロソフトの寄付は、植物園の景観や図書館蔵書のデジタル化に役立っています。マイクロソフトの従業員や非営利パートナーは、資材のアップサイクルや、このプロジェクトの下で最終的にシンガポールの街路樹として植樹される在来樹木の装飾に携わっています。
• グリーン・ウェイブ・グローバル・キャンペーンは、国際生物多様性の日である5月22日に在来種の樹木や低木を植えることで、2023年に変化をもたらす機会を子どもたちに提供した。マイクロソフトは、参加校に約1,200本の苗木を提供し、在来種の重要性とその保護の意義を強調した電子情報キットも提供した。

Whether affected by a recent emergency or decades of challenges, we use data, technology, and strategic investments to restore and support them for future generations.   National Council of Social Service  provides leadership and direction in enhancing the capabilities and capacity of its members, advocating for social service needs, and strengthening strategic partnerships for an effective social service ecosystem.

• デジタル・フォー・ライフ基金 高齢者サイバーセーフティプログラムは、シンガポールのInfocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA)によって制定され、高齢者のサイバーセーフティについて取り上げています。マイクロソフトは、センバワン・ウエスト、キャンベラ、マルシリング、ウッドランズの図書館やコミュニティセンターで行われたIMDAのボランティアイベントを支援し、高齢者にサイバーセーフティに関するトレーニングを行い、IMDAの責任あるテクノロジーリーダーとしての公約を果たしました。
