United Way of Racine County Days of Caring
Team members from Microsoft, Walsh Construction, Kiewit Corporation, and The Boldt Company, participated in United Way of Racine’s Days of Caring. The Days of Caring is an event consisting of volunteer opportunities in support of United Way of Racine County’s impact partners. At the Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO), the team helped by organizing the food pantries, painting hallways, and sorting donations. At the Women’s Resource Center, the team cleaned and organized offices and meeting spaces. HALO provides emergency food, shelter, clothing and supportive services to homeless Racine County community members. The Women’s Resource Center supports victims or individuals at risk of domestic abuse or sexual assault by providing crisis intervention, advocacy, education, and prevention services. Both HALO and the Women’s Resource Center rely on volunteers, donors, and partners to support their organizations.
