Local businesses, hospitals, government services, and schools also rely on datacenters every day to deliver services efficiently and securely.

January 2026—Initiation of the environmental impact assessment by the Ożarów Mazowiecki municipality

Microsoft is currently in the early planning stages of its proposed datacenter project in the municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki. The project is undergoing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) process.

We have prepared a detailed EIA report describing the proposed project, its potential environmental impacts, and the measures we plan to take to minimize effects on the surrounding area. This document is required to obtain an environmental decision before a building permit can be issued.

The report has been submitted and is now under review by the appropriate authorities. As the process continues and additional steps are confirmed, we will share updates on this page.
