Wiseman Boulevard datacenter construction update
Microsoft is building a datacenter on Wiseman Boulevard in San Antonio, Texas.
Why datacenters are needed
Datacenters provide the physical infrastructure for the technology we depend on at work and in our personal lives. Whenever you open an app on your phone, join a virtual classroom or meeting, snap and save photos, or play a game with your friends online, you are using a datacenter. Local businesses, government, hospitals, and schools rely on datacenters every day to deliver goods and services to you.
Microsoft and its general contractor Walbridge Aldinger LLC have begun construction on the Wiseman Boulevard datacenter in San Antonio. Construction is estimated to be complete in early 2024. Completion of construction does not indicate datacenter operation/availability.
- Our general contractor, Walbridge Aldinger LLC, will continue to mitigate dust around the site.
- They anticipate landscaping and asphalt roadways to be complete by early fall 2023.
- Monday – Friday 7:00am – 8:00pm
- Saturday 8:00am – 8:00pm
- Sunday 9:00am – 5:00pm
If construction falls outside of normal operating hours, our team will notify the homeowners association via email 72 hours in advance as stated in the San Antonio city code.
